A pretty, pink flamingo made of craft pipe cleaners. This should definitely be part of your collection!
You will need the following products to create this
Take two pink craft pipe cleaners. Twist these together. At 2 cm, start twisting one thread into the other to about an 8 cm length.
Make a loop with the end of one of the threads and tighten it. Repeat with the other thread. This will give you a solid frame to form the body. Shape the body as shown.
Now we will make the wings. Take a craft pipe cleaner. Stick this right through the body, bend over and insert your thread back into the body but now to the other side. Attach firmly. Take another pipe cleaner and now make the wings as shown.
For the legs, again take a pipe cleaner and form three toes as shown in the picture. Then insert the thread at the bottom through the body and form three toes on the other side as well.
Take a small piece of black pipe cleaner and wire it to the top of the head. Then take a white pipe cleaner and twist it around the end as shown. Stick on two moving eyes.
Decorate your flamingo with feathery feathers. You can also make a smaller flamingo with craft pipe cleaners 6 mm thick.
Tip: extra fun to hang up your flamingo. To do this, take a piece of iron wire, fold it double and attach the wire at the top of the back.
